Our therapist’s are experienced in working with children and young people who have trauma and attachment difficulties. Our services provide targeted support, optimising the fostering and adoption process. We work closely with other services, professionals and agencies involved with the child.
We consider the whole child and their environment when thinking about their strengths and needs. This includes; current function (home & school) peer and family relationships, trauma history, attachment relationships and neurodevelopmental factors. The Adoption Support Fund (ASF) was introduced to provide therapeutic support for adoptive and specialist guardianship families.
